Track Your Points
SAA is implementing a new point system to reward our members for being involved.

For graduate students: 30 points minimum will be required each academic year to be considered an officially recognized member of SAA. Recognized members will be entered in a raffle at the end of the academic year with 1 raffle ticket for every 5 points earned (so more points means more chances to win!). If you are a recognized student for at least 2 years, you are eligible for a graduation cord.

How Can You Earn Points?
Attending Meetings
5 points
You can earn 5 points for every meeting attended during the academic year. Both undergraduate and general meeting attendance counts toward points.
Volunteering
5 points
Volunteering for our hearing screenings, outreach events, or setting up for other SAA events can all earn you points toward being an official SAA member. Visit our "Get Involved" page or email saa.sandiego@gmail.com for volunteer opportunities.
Fundraisers
5 points
Purchasing a fundraiser item from SAA or attending a restaurant fundraiser can both earn you points for SAA. Also, assisting with running a fundraiser will give you points.
Attending Events
5 points
Attending any SAA event, such as a guest lecture, a workshop, a panel, a mixer, a conference, or anything else will earn you 5 points per event. Meet new people and learn about audiology while you earn SAA points at the same time!
